A sensorial, cinematic exploration of what a story can be.。故事发生在红军长征离开后的江西苏区。少年潘冬子（祝新运 饰）的父亲响应号召，参加红军抗击敌军去了，只剩下母亲与东子相依为命。母亲也是抗敌的积极分子，从小耳濡目染的冬子虽然只有11岁，也立下了决心长大参加红军对抗日军。 一天，反动地主胡汗三前来捉拿东子的母亲，眼看形势危急，冬子妈决定留下来掩护其他群众撤退。在连扔两枚手榴弹砸死多名敌人后，冬子妈亦英勇就义。目睹了妈妈被敌人杀害的惨况，冬子决心用自己的力量为母亲报仇。 冬子开始用自己的机智与勇敢与敌人周旋，暗中帮当地的游击队送盐送信。通与敌人的斗争，冬子渐渐成长，替母亲报仇的时刻也终于来到。。
